Intelligent document processing for annual reports and financial statements — every figure extracted, checked against accounting rules, and traced to its page.
Genni reads annual reports and financial statements — digital PDFs or scanned pages — and turns them into clean, structured data. It finds the primary statements, extracts every line, maps each figure to a standard template, and checks the result against accounting rules before anyone relies on it.
It grew out of Scribble Green's research work, where analysts spent days re-keying figures from reports into spreadsheets. Genni does that transcription in minutes and keeps the analyst where they add value: reviewing the handful of items the checks flag, not typing out the thousands that are right.
AI reads the page; the engine does the arithmetic. Totals are tested, not assumed.
Financial position, profit or loss, comprehensive income, cash flows and changes in equity — from digital or scanned reports.
Balance sheets must balance, subtotals must add up, cash and equity must roll forward. Anything that doesn't goes to a review queue.
Every figure keeps its source page, its label and value exactly as printed, and its units — viewable side by side with the page image.
General, bank and insurance templates, so reports from different companies land in the same shape and can be compared.
Beyond the statements: notes, governance and ESG disclosures pulled into structured fields.
Download any document's data as Excel, CSV or JSON.
